Dana White and Eddie Hearn Continue Verbal Spat Over Fury vs. Joshua Promotion: ‘It is Completely Untrue”

Dana White and Eddie Hearn are locked in a public dispute over who is truly involved in promoting the upcoming Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua fight.

The two figures have starkly different views on their roles. White insists he will be part of the fight's production, a claim Hearn challenges, stating the fight contract prohibits White's involvement.

During a UFC 332 post-fight press conference, White reiterated his position when asked about Hearn's comments.

"I will be there," White stated. "We’re producing the show, just like Canelo-Crawford. Same thing. Craig Borsari, Zach, my whole team. We will be producing the show. I will have my little phone on the table just like tonight and every other show that I produce. … I’ll be there. I’m producing it. I’m promoting it. I’ll see you in Wales."

Hours earlier, Hearn told reporters that White's participation in producing Fury vs. Joshua is contractually forbidden.

"What he actually said was, ‘We're doing the TV production,' which again, in the contract, is prohibited," Hearn explained. "I actually started to feel bad for him, and then I woke up to all that and thought, ‘Just drop the video.' After that video, I spoke to SELA and I said, ‘Have you seen this video?' They said, ‘Yes, and it is completely untrue.' They told me that in writing. He cannot do that under the contract. I’ve got to actually admire him because rather than just going, ‘Listen, fair play, Hearn’s had me by the short and curlies,’ when actually there aren’t many of those, he goes, ‘No,’ and he won’t give up. So it’s like, I’ve got to respect it and admire it because the front on him is unbelievable. They want me to meet them in L.A. next week, which I probably will."

At the Fury vs. Joshua kickoff press conference in London, Michael Buffer did not mention White during introductions. Later, when Turki Alalshikh mentioned White's name, the audience responded with boos.
