Looksmaxxing Streamer Clavicular Tells Arman Tsarukyan He Should Be Better Looking
Braden Peters, also known as Clavicular, a looksmaxxing influencer and streamer, offered UFC fighter Arman Tsarukyan an unconventional approach to securing more title fights.
Despite his impressive submission victory over Dan Hooker at UFC Qatar in 2025, Tsarukyan was denied a title shot. For 2026, he hopes to serve as a backup for the UFC Freedom 250 main event, which features a lightweight title unification bout between Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje. Tsarukyan has stated that his next fight will be announced after the White House card. The Armenian fighter has also been active in other promotions like RAF and HYPE FC.
Recently, as part of Tsarukyan’s ongoing public relations efforts, he connected with Clavicular. The influencer suggested that fighters might secure more title opportunities if they were more aesthetically pleasing, as promotions often prioritize marketable faces. Clavicular acknowledged Tsarukyan's already striking features but insisted there's always room for enhancement. He stated:
“You would probably be able to get more title fights, the better looking you were. So it could be worth it. Everyone can improve. Even the best-looking person in the world. So get a little better.”
Tsarukyan humorously responded:
“Now I’m gonna do Botox to get my title fight. That’s why they didn’t give me [a title shot], because I’m ugly.”
Why Was Arman Tsarukyan Denied a Title Shot?
Arman Tsarukyan, a top contender in the UFC lightweight division, was previously denied a title shot after withdrawing from UFC 311. He claimed he had a hernia and had to pull out at the last minute from his scheduled title fight against then-lightweight champion Islam Makhachev. To get back into Dana White's good graces, Tsarukyan served as a backup for UFC 317. After securing a victory at UFC Qatar, he once again requested a title shot, but it was refused.
UFC President Dana White has repeatedly stated that the 29-year-old fighter is not getting a title shot due to his actions both inside and outside the octagon, including punching a fan, headbutting Dan Hooker, and engaging in altercations with Georgio Poullas. Tsarukyan has now pledged to be a "good boy" and anticipates fighting for the title before the end of 2026.
